Guide to Divinity: Original Sin 2's Sanctuary of Amadia, including Zaleskar, Noxious Bulbs, and healing quests.
Walkthrough:
- Cross the drawbridge and proceed to the end of a broken bridge section to find Zaleskar, an undead trader.
- Ifan ben-Mezd should speak to Zaleskar, who gives Ifan the unique Shadow's Eye crossbow and a Poisoncloud Arrow. Speak to Ifan afterwards.
- Allow Sebille to speak to Zaleskar, who reveals the name of her seller, Roost.
- You may browse Zaleskar's wares; his unique items are likely too expensive. Donating 400G worth of goods raises his attitude to 100.
- Take the southern path to unlock the Hollow Marshes - Bridge waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination).
- Go southeast from the waypoint, follow the path west, and look for the remains of a magister carrying Orders from Dallis to update Signs of Resistance.
- Continue and encounter a group of undead led by a Decomposing Terramancer, a Decomposing Swashbuckler, and a hidden Decomposing Assassin.
- After defeating them, loot the Decomposing Terramancer's Belt from the Terramancer's remains.
- Climb nearby vines. At the top, you will find a field of Noxious Bulbs that explode when approached or damaged by other elements.
- Neutralize the Noxious Bulbs by hitting them with their corresponding element: Air (Blue), Earth (Yellow), Fire (Red). Alternatively, use Teleportation to group them and hit them with an AoE spell.
- After clearing the bulbs, you may find three skulls on poles. The Ornate Chest in the center is trapped with explosions, but should not trigger the bulbs if opened. Inside is a Severed Head; an elven character can eat it to learn Peace of Mind.
- Continue east from the bulb field to some low ruins. You will be ambushed by ten Viscous Voidlings.
- After defeating the Voidlings, loot a nearby skeleton.
- Follow the path west, dealing with three Noxious Bulbs (Blue, Red, and Green). Use Poison to neutralize the Green Noxious Bulb, which leaves a miasma that can be burned away.
- Continue west to a Rusted Bell. Sound the bell to summon Bahara, a lizard woman, who will appear on the ledge above and demand proof you are not a Magister.
- Assure Bahara you are not a Magister to be welcomed to the Sanctuary of Amadia and have vines lowered for you to climb.
- If the Red Prince is in your party, allow him to speak to Bahara, revealing the name Brahmos the Wanderer from shared dreams.
- Speak to Bahara again. She explains that Shriekers block escape from the island and tells you to seek out the priestess, Gratiana. Bahara also stocks Huntsman skillbooks.
- Proceed into the sanctuary proper to unlock a 1500 XP exploration bonus.
- Find Han and the Seeker Samadel. Samadel asks if you met Gareth and explains he is missing after searching for Braccus' Armoury. Offer to help to initiate Most Dangerous When Cornered.
- Samadel directs you to Gareth's squire, Exter. Samadel sells Pyrokinetic skillbooks.
- Speak to Simone, who is tending to the wounded. She initiates Healing Touch if you ask to help.
- Cast First Aid or Restoration on Jules, Klaud, and Matis. Each healed patient grants 1500 XP and rewards: Jules gives a Bleed Fire skillbook, Klaud gives a Skull Amulet, and Matis promises future assistance.
- Speak to Simone again to receive your reward. She sells Hydrosophist skillbooks.
- Go around and climb onto a platform to read the Crafting Bible, Part 1 recipe book.
- Head back down and find Exter.
- Tell Exter you are a Sourcerer and mention Verdas. Exter may identify you as a
