Walkthrough
- 1Leave Driftwood through the eastern gate and find Peeper among dead chickens. He will imprint on you, unlocking the 'Proud Parent' trophy.
- 2Cast Spirit Vision and speak to the Spirit of Big Marge to learn Peeper is a monster and must be taken to his father, the Magic Rooster. The Magic Rooster's location will be marked on your map.
- 3Head north, optionally browsing Fingal Boyd's wares. Carefully navigate past Explosive Mines.
- 4Ignore the Paladin Checkpoint to the east and follow the road west and northwest, passing a Witch's Hut.
- 5Near a massacre site, douse flames and search the remains of the Silent Watchers for the Very Silent Watcher's Leather Shirt.
- 6Cross the shallow water to the east, note the Altar, and offer a prayer to update The Eternal Promise.
- 7Continue across to find Tyrille with a captured magister. Ignore Tyrille and Daeyena further along the path for now.
- 8In a clearing, find the Magicockerel. Tell him Peeper is his son. He will declare Peeper is a Voidwoken and instruct you to kill him. Agree to kill Peeper and loot his remains for a Source Orb. A chest with Legendary and Epic items will spawn.
- 9Do not refuse to kill Peeper, as this will trigger an attack by Voidwoken Chicks and cause Daeyena to become hostile and murder your party.
- 10Return to the path and make a quick save. Speak to Daeyena, who warns you not to follow her.
- 11Protest that you found her by accident. Ask about her armor, and she will demonstrate by casting Trigger Spores on the captured Magister, creating gauntlets. Respond as you wish, but do not initiate violence. Daeyena will leave.
- 12If Daeyena becomes hostile, reload and try again, possibly by unequipping gear with Retribution.
- 13Go back across the river and head northwest to unlock the Driftwood - Fields waypoint.
- 14Backtrack to the massacre scene. Enter the house and find Gareth with a White Magister named Jonathan.
- 15Gareth explains Jonathan was his friend. Encourage Gareth to kill Jonathan. If you hesitate, Jonathan may cause trouble later.
- 16Choose to kill Jonathan yourself if Gareth hesitates. Gareth will be upset and want to leave. Use Persuasion to get him to return to the Lady Vengeance.
- 17Search Jonathan's remains for Jonathan's Ring and level 14 gear.
- 18Outside the house, dig up a Dirt Pile for loot. Head west and southwest to an enclosure with a chicken coop. Find a Stardust Herb nearby.
- 19Enter the enclosure and find Ferno, a sad bird. Use the Scholar tag to identify it as a phoenix.
- 20Agree to burn Ferno to rejuvenate it. Use a fireball spell. After a few rounds, an egg will remain. Keep the Scaly Phoenix Egg.
- 21Go to the field southwest and find cows Mabel and Geraldine. Mabel asks for help changing back from a cow.
- 22They explain a witch, Alice Alisceon, turned them into cows. A potion in Alice's house can revert them. They warn about rats and mention Alice hasn't been seen recently.
- 23Go east to the witch's cottage and get the Key to the Witch's House from the garden.
- 24Go to the front of the house and find a frog named Grbbt.
Tips
- Peeper is very squishy; avoid combat until you can hand him off.
- If Daeyena accuses you of interfering and becomes hostile, reload and try again. Retribution from equipped gear might be the cause.
- If you tell Gareth to stay his blade, Jonathan may become a problem later.
