Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering the Brotherhood, you'll see guards in Power Armor. Speak to Cabbot, the guard on the left.
- 2Ask Cabbot about joining the Brotherhood to receive the quest to find the 'Ruins of the Ancient Order', also known as the Glow.
- 3Ask Darrell for directions to the Glow and general information about the Brotherhood.
- 4NOTE: If your character has 3 Intelligence or less, Darrell will give you a free RadX pill.
- 5Option 1: Using Electronic Picks
- Use the electronic picks on the front door of the Brotherhood.
- 6This may require several attempts. A Lockpick skill of 65% is recommended.
- 7Once the door opens, run inside immediately. The door will lock on subsequent visits, and entering quickly prevents interior guards from considering you to have failed the quest.
- 8Option 2: If Electronic Picks Fail
- Go to The Hub.
- 9Barter for two RadX pills and a rope.
- 10Leave The Hub and travel to the Glow.
- 11Just before entering the Glow, use the RadX pills to protect against radiation.
- 12Upon entering the Glow, locate the large crater.
- 13On the crater's edge, find a metal bar.
- 14Use the rope on the metal bar to descend into the crater.
- 15Navigate by going south, then right, then north until you find a dead Brotherhood soldier in Power Armor.
- 16Examine the soldier's body and collect the tapes.
- 17Leave the Glow and return to the Brotherhood.
- 18Upon returning to the Brotherhood, read the tapes to gain 100 experience.
- 19Talk to Cabbot and give him the tapes.
- 20The Brotherhood door will unlock, and you will receive 1500 experience points.
