    Upon entering the LA Boneyards (Adytum), holster your weapons when asked by Regulators.

    Go south to a tent next to a building. Save your game and enter the building.

    Talk to Chuck. Choose the last conversation option, ask for advice, and thank him. Continue asking for advice until Chuck gives you the 'Fool' tarot card. Ask about his profession and for more advice; he will give you the card again, increasing your Luck skill by two.

    To your left (character's right), find a building with a whitish wall and a man named Miles nearby. Agree to get parts to fix the hydroponic farms.

    Head north to the Blades area. Enter the building and speak with the lady in the leather jacket. Learn about the Regulators killing Zimmerman's son and offer to get the Blades better equipment.

    Save your game. If your fighting skills are below 91%, ask MacRae at the entrance to teach you.

    Head east to the deathclaw warehouse. Kill all deathclaws and eggs in the basement (including the mother deathclaw) for the Gun Runners to supply weapons to the Blades. The dead merchant is on the northeast side.

    Make your way further east to the Gun Runners. Ask the guard to see Gabriel.

    Speak with Gabriel (in combat armor). Inform him about the deathclaws and eggs being eliminated and request weapons for the Blades. He will comply. You can also ask for many weapons and ammo, which will result in a significant discount if you purchase items.

    Return to the Blades and speak with Razor. Tell her you are ready to confront the Regulators. Seven Blades, including two in the back, will join you. The fight is generally easy, but watch out for the Regulator with the ripper and for civilian casualties. Kill all Regulators and Jon Zimmerman to end the fight. Civilians will fight on your side. Razor will thank you at Adytum's entrance afterward.

    Alternatively, if you obtained weapons from the Gun Runners, go to Adytum and give Zimmerman the holodisc from Razor. A Regulator will kill him; you must then kill all Regulators. Civilian casualties will be high. Jon Zimmerman cannot be saved; he will attack you after the Regulators are defeated, and you must kill him for the Blades to control Adytum.

    Go south and talk to Miles, who will direct you to Smitty (in Leather Armor). Smitty will repair the parts and give them to you. Return to Miles. Miles and Smitty can now upgrade Power Armor and Plasma Rifles.

    To upgrade Power Armor, wear it and talk to Miles. He will send you to the Hub to buy science journals from Mrs. Stapleton for approximately $750.

    To upgrade a Plasma Rifle, give one to Smitty to create the Turbo Plasma Rifle.

    Go to the Blades area and speak with MacRae. Ask him to teach you to increase your fighting skills.

    Go west of the Blades to the Followers' library. Recruit Katja, who is skilled in combat and lockpicking. Speak with Nicole (north of Katja), who can help with destroying the Cathedral.

    Downstairs, a ghoul from Vault 13 seeks help finding the water chip, having been captured by super mutants at Necropolis. Offer to kill the Master for him. He will give you a flamethrower and 20 cartridges. If you have cleared the mutants at the watershed, you will only receive the flamethrower.

    Leave the Boneyards and head south to the Cathedral. The next section covers the Glow.
