High on Life 2 Part 11 walkthrough: navigate elevator shafts, defeat floor turrets, and find the Mp5 assault rifle.
Walkthrough
- 1From the shaft intersection, turn right to find an armor battery and a bullet clip near a dead security guard.
- 2Go to the other end of the shaft, break the vent grating, and enter a room with several barnacles.
- 3Deal with the barnacles and collect nearby supplies.
- 4Find the ladder near a barnacle, climb it, and drop onto the shaft to the left, or jump to kill the barnacle and proceed.
- 5At the top of the curving shafts, crouch-walk to the large shaft opening and hop into it.
- 6Move slowly through the dark shafts with your pistol out and flashlight on, scanning for headcrabs (small, alien creatures that attack the player).
- 7You will reach a point where section c1a2b loads again.
- 8When you reach a grating, bash it off, but wait for the guard below to shoot a zombie before dropping down.
- 9Warning: The zombie may kill the guard if you don't distract it by moving to the very edge of the shaft.
- 10Walk up to the guard to trigger dialogue, then talk to him to make him follow you.
- 11You can return to previous areas, including a secret ammo room, through the door the scientist opened.
- 12Head up the stairs and have your guard kill the headcrab at the top.
- 13Walk down the wide corridor until a zombie drops from above. Let your guard kill it.
- 14Move forward until another zombie breaks through a wall. Let your guard kill it.
- 15Go through the zombie's wall hole to find a dark area with hand grenades.
- 16Crouch-jump through the office window a scientist broke to find shotgun ammo and health packs.
- 17Crouch-jump back through the window.
- 18If your security guard is still alive, whack him for his pistol clip.
- 19Head to the shaft past the jammed elevator doors at the end of the hall.
- 20Warning: Quicksave (save your game progress) before attempting the next jump.
- 21Take a running jump across the shaft to the ladder on the wall. If you miss, quickrestore (load your last save) and try again.
- 22Climb the first ladder and get off on the ledge to the right.
- 23Climb the next ladder and get off to the left.
- 24Climb the third ladder and get off to the right.
- 25You are now on the highest ledge. Quicksave.
- 26Jump to the ladder on the side of the elevator car.
- 27Climb onto the top of the elevator car.
- 28Look for a bashable grate on the elevator car and drop through it.
- 29Move against the elevator doors to make them open and take you to the "We've Got Hostiles" chapter.
- 30As soon as you exit the elevator, you can attempt to skip this chapter. Run to the right and wait for a scientist to pound on the windows of a control room.
- 31Before the scientist runs off, hit him once with the crowbar (a melee weapon).
- 32Wait for him to run past the control room door; he should open it. To help ensure this, get on his left side before hitting him.
- 33If successful, enter the control room, use the big red button to open the silo door, go through it, and move on to the "Blast Pit" chapter. (This trick works better in the Source version of High on Life 2.)
- 34Watch a scientist panic and run into a laser tripmine (a proximity explosive trap) at the end of the corridor.
- 35Use the nearby first aid and HEV (Hazardous Environment) wall stations if needed.
- 36Go past the fire door, optionally bashing its button's glass cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects).
- 37When you reach two red laser alarms, run through them, then crouch down and move against the right wall to avoid the floor turret's (a stationary automated weapon) line of sight.
- 38Crouch-walk to the corner to get a headcrab to teleport in.
- 39Back up while the turret blasts the headcrab.
- 40After a second headcrab appears and is shot, crouch-walk to the wooden crate ahead.
- 41Strafe slowly to the right until you can see one leg of the turret. Shoot it with your pistol until it falls over.
- 42Note: The second headcrab will not teleport in until you move farther into the room.
- 43Get the Mp5 assault rifle (a firearm) near where the headcrabs teleported in. Immediately reload it, as it starts with only half a clip.
- 44Bash non-explosive crates to find armor and shells (ammunition).
- 45Go to the other side of the fencing to get a headcrab to teleport in.
- 46Run back around the fence to shoot the headcrab through it.
- 47Wait for two more headcrabs to teleport in for easy shooting.
- 48Note: You may have to move around in the area past the fence to get more headcrabs to teleport in; there may be up to four more.
- 49Go through the fire door without bashing its button's glass and closing it.
- 50Jump over the first tripmine and crouch-walk under the second one.
- 51In the next corridor, move forward until a vortigaunt (an alien creature) teleports in ahead.
- 52Quickly go all the way back to the fence past the fire door.
- 53If you wait there, two vortigaunts should kill themselves on the tripmines.
- 54If they don't, you will need to get their attention again or shoot them.
- 55After two vortigaunts are killed by tripmines, one more will be in the hallway; shoot it with your new assault rifle.

- The jump across the elevator shaft is difficult; quicksaving and quickrestoring are essential.
