Part 37 of the High on Life 2 walkthrough: Learn how to defeat enemies, find supplies, and acquire the RPG while navigating treacherous cliffside paths and avoiding landmines.
Walkthrough
- 1Equip the crowbar. As a sand pile rises, crouch and swing at its peak to kill the crab before it emerges.
- 2Once the perimeter is secure, focus on the ammo. Make noise in one area to draw the tentacle, then crouch-walk to a position behind it. Quicksave, grab the nearby ammo, and retreat to safety. Repeat until all ammo is collected.
- 3To the right of your entry point, find a sandy slope leading to a dark, rocky passage. Crouch-walk through to reach the fourth and final outdoor area, which is free of enemies but covered in land mines.
- 4From the sign, turn left, move to the end of the raised sandy ledge, turn right, and proceed to the cactus.
- 5Past the cactus is a small military supply area. Shoot the ground near the meshy netting with the assault rifle to detonate a land mine. Then, go under the netting to check for supplies (these may disappear if you previously returned to section c2a5w).
- 6Beyond the netting, crouch-walk between two large rocks and ascend to higher ground.
- 7Approach an open storm drain surrounded by barbed wire. Position yourself on the raised ground next to the back of the fence to jump over and land on the hatch.
- 8Carefully climb down the ladder in the shaft to avoid damage. At the bottom, break through a grating and proceed down the tunnel to section c2a5a.
- 9Section c2a5a: CLIFFSIDE MANEUVERINGS AND THE RPG
- 10As you approach the tunnel's end, equip the pistol. Move slowly forward while looking right. A marine and a turret are positioned on cliffside paths.
- 11Target the marine on the lower cliffside path with the pistol.
- 12Equip the crossbow, enter zoom mode, strafe to get a clear shot at the turret, and destroy it quickly.
- 13If the marine retreats, take down the turret first. Then, use the .357 Magnum to sneak-shoot the marine. Move to the other side of the ledge and finish him with the pistol.
- 14Equip the pistol again and drop to the ledge below the pipe. Turn left, walk to the edge, and sneak-shoot the marine on the ledge below.
- 15Carefully drop to a small intermediate ledge, then to the marine's ledge. Take his weapon.
- 16Drop to the next ledge. You will sustain minor health damage. Enter a small cave by running over a rock. Inside, find two health packs and a bullet clip.
- 17Crouch-jump back over the rock to its left side, then turn left. At the end of your current ledge, drop to one small ledge, then to another.
- 18Quicksave before the next drop, as it leads to a very narrow ledge. Strafe right immediately upon landing to maintain balance. Alternatively, crouch-jump to skip the narrowest part.
- 19Crouch-walk forward to find an armor battery, then a rickety wooden bridge. Crouch-walk along one of the sturdy cables supporting the bridge.
- 20After passing the previously shot marine and turning a corner, use your flashlight to spot the feet of another marine behind a large metal structure connecting pipes. Sneak-shoot him with the pistol.
- 21Follow the ledge past him to another corner. Just past this corner is a supply cave with a marine near the entrance.
- 22Crouch-walk carefully to shoot the marine in the foot with the .357 Magnum. When he charges, finish him with another shot.
- 23Enter the supply cave and retrieve the RPG and loose rockets. The Apache helicopter will appear outside.
- 24(Optional) You can attempt to trick the helicopter into damaging itself with its own missiles. Move past the cave to attract its attention, then retreat and strafe. When it fires, lure it to target the cave mouth before running for cover. This is more difficult in later game versions but can still cause self-damage.
- 25The helicopter can be destroyed with two RPG rockets (or one, according to SRC). Aim for it as it flies left to right in front of the cave.
- 26After the first rocket, retreat to the cave. If the helicopter doesn't damage you with a missile, quicksave. If two rockets don't destroy it, switch to the assault rifle.
- 27Once the helicopter is down, search the supply cave for additional supplies.
- 28Proceed along the cliffside path past the cave. When you reach a ladder, carefully crouch-walk to its front and climb to the top.
- 29Crouch-walk up a ramp and hop across a series of ledges to reach the bottom of another ladder.
