Walkthrough:
- After dealing with the 357, collect health packs. Return to the base of the slanty beam and find a door to push open, leading back to the alley. A guard may inexplicably be present here.
- You can return to the roof via the slanty beam (faster but riskier) or the initial method.
- From the roof, near the top of the slanty beam, jump to a broken wall section, then drop to a floor piece. Alternatively, crouch-walk down the broken wall to the left of the slanty beam and jump to the floor piece.
- Move to the end of this floor piece, walk along a metal beam to another floor piece, and then make a running jump to the floor piece next to the required doorway.
- Proceed down the short hall to another doorway. Stop before it to see large doors with red STOP signs across the helipad area.
- Equip the hornet gun, quicksave, and fire approximately 55 (or 130, per SRC) altfire hornets at these doors. If they are not destroyed, quickrestore and try again. Quicksave if successful. Optionally, place a tripmine high on the wall to the right of the doorway.
- Keep the hornet gun equipped and run backward through the doorway. Back up towards the center of the helipad area until an explosion sounds behind you.
- Immediately run forward back through the doorway. Stop just past it, turn around, and use altfire hornets to finish destroying the large doors.
- As soon as the doors explode, run down the hall and drop to the floor. Use the large slanty beam to return to the roof.
- Stay near the top of the slanty beam on the roof to avoid being targeted by marines dropped by the osprey plane.
- Each time the osprey hovers to drop marines, quicksave. Hit it with altfire hornets until it circles again. If you destroy it, quickrestore and hit it with nearly enough altfire hornets to destroy it. Wait until it flies directly over your roof (or passes by without dropping marines, per SRC), then finish it off with the pistol or altfire hornets.
- After destroying the osprey, return to the helipad area. Be aware of potential alien grunts in the hallway leading to the helipad; use hornets or the pistol to eliminate them.
- Quickly shoot down any surviving marines, preferably from the hallway.
- You can proceed through the destroyed doors to section c2a5f, but it's recommended to find another large doorway to the right.
- Go through this alternate doorway and down a ramp to a locked supply room door. Defeat the nearby alien grunt with RPG rockets.
