Complete High on Life 2 Part 33 walkthrough: kill houndeyes, use electrical thing, and navigate the blue laser room.
Walkthrough
- 1Kill all of the houndeyes, then climb up and enter their room.
- 2Jump-crouch onto the metal crate next to the fence.
- 3Edge over to the red electrical thing with the wire attached to it, avoiding the fence.
- 4Crowbar-bash the red electrical thing. The gate will open soon after.
- 5After healing up, go through the door and on until you reach a room.
- 6Go around the right side of the alien grunt cage in the middle of the room.
- 7Crowbar-bash the glass covering a button.
- 8Immediately run around the back of the cage to the door on the left of the button.
- 9As soon as it opens, run through it and down the hallway until you reach the next room.
- 10In the large blue-ish room with the headcrab cage in the center, enter the small control booth.
- 11Hit the big button inside the control booth to temporarily close all of the room's doors and zap the headcrabs with a powerful laser blast.
- 12A marine will appear just outside the room's exit doorway. Get his attention and quickly run back into the control booth and hit the button again.
- 13Back out of the control booth until the marine sees you, then run forward to the button.
- 14Stay away from the control booth's door while the laser is building up charge, as the marine may set grenades next to it.
- 15After the zap sequence is over, look around for the marine's dropped assault rifle.
- 16Past the laser room, you'll find another first aid station, and then a security guard around the next corner.
- 17Wait until the security guard is done talking to you, then get him to follow you and move ahead to where section c2a4e loads.
- 18After rounding a couple of corners in section c2a4e, you'll be looking into a large lobby with two marines directly ahead, facing away from you.
- 19Launch an AR grenade at them, aiming to kill both with one grenade. You may need to quickrestore and try again if they move.
- 20Move into the lobby and look to the right. If marines are on the upper walkway near the railing, shoot them with the .357.
- 21Hang back so they come down the lobby's side hallway, allowing you to take them down with minimal damage.
- 22Get the assault rifle out, cross the lobby, and go down the side hallway and along the walkway near the railing to ensure all marines are dealt with.
- 23After collecting all dropped weapons, including the shotgun, return to the lobby and get shotgun shells off the desk.
- 24Use the HEV charger on one wall.
- 25Return to the previous section briefly to use a first aid station and get the security guard to follow if left behind.
- 26Go back to the lobby hallway and move along until you reach the next big blue overhead-laser room.
- 27Leave your security guard follower outside this room.
- 28Enter the room and push the button on the wall between the two cages to open them, then run for the control booth.
- 29Lure headcrabs out of their cages if necessary, then run for the control booth and hit the button to kill them with the laser.
- 30Repeat until all headcrabs are dead.
- 31Search both cages to find a crossbow and some snarks.
- 32Past that room is a corridor with two marines. Shoot them down fast or lure them into the laser room if they are alert.
- 33If they are unaware, sneak-shoot them with the .357.
- 34At one end of their hallway are doors to the lobby's side hallway.
- 35At the other end is an entrance to a room full of computer banks, one rigged with tripmines.
- 36In the computer bank room, go left from the shelf with two armor batteries to find a dead marine with three unset tripmines.
- 37Pick up the tripmines and set one near the spot where you found them.
- 38Go up the sloping floor to the red-lit room, then over to its large window.
- 39Shoot one of the tripmines with your pistol, then immediately crouch until the sounds of battle stop.
- 40Stand up so any survivors see you, then quickly run to the start of the sloping hallway and get your assault rifle out.
- 41If the tripmines have already exploded and alien grunts and soldiers are in the computer bank room upon loading a save, approach the doorway slowly to sneak-shoot a nearby alien grunt with the pistol.
- 42Crouch-walk slowly into the doorway to get the other grunt and three marines to fight.
- 43When the sounds of battle stop, quicksave.
Tips
- To freeze marines and make them forget about you for sneak-shooting, run back to where the previous section loads after they start attacking, then turn around and return. Your security guard follower is not needed if you use this trick.
- If you find the tripmines in the computer bank room have already exploded upon loading a save, approach the room's doorway slowly to sneak-shoot the nearby alien grunt with the pistol.
