Captain Hero, whose creator Fred Haslam called him Captain Hero, is also sometimes referred to as Super Sim or Maxis Man. This character will occasionally appear when a disaster occurs in your city. He will valiantly fight off the disaster and always succeeds. Captain Hero will show up for almost any kind of disaster except fires. He will not show up if you have constructed a military base, or if you have not been asked to construct a military base. If you accepted a military base but one was not built anyway, he will show up.
