Hey there! So, you want to add some flair to your city with signs? It's pretty straightforward in SimCity 2000 on PC. Think of signs as purely decorative – they don't affect your city's stats or cost you anything, which is nice!

To get started, just click on the sign button. You'll see it in your build menu. Once you've clicked it, find the spot in your city where you want the sign to appear and click on that tile. Now, a little window will pop up. This is where the magic happens – you can type in whatever text you want your sign to say. When you're happy with it, hit the 'DONE' button, and boom, you've got yourself a sign!

What if you change your mind or want to update a sign? No problem! Just click the sign button again, then click on the tile where your existing sign is. The same window will pop up, giving you the option to either edit the text or delete the sign completely.

Now, for a cool trick: want to add special characters, like accented letters or those funky upside-down question marks? You can use Alt key combinations. For example, on Windows, pressing Alt+0191 will give you an upside-down question mark. Just remember, these codes are a Windows feature, so they might work a bit differently on other operating systems.

Heads up for PlayStation players: Unfortunately, you won't be able to place signs in the PlayStation version of SimCity 2000. Sorry about that!
