The Place Forest tool in SimCity 2000 enables you to create forests of any size or density. Its operation is comparable to the spray paint tool found in many picture editing programs.

To remove entire forests, you can use a method similar to removing trees by shift-clicking. Hold down the key while using the tool; this action effectively reverses the process of planting forests.
