Center

Learn how to use the Center tool in SimCity 2000 to reposition your city map view. Includes right-click shortcut and PlayStation note.

To use the Center tool, click the center button, then click the desired spot on your city map. This will make that spot appear in the center of your viewing window.

There are quicker ways to center your view:

• Right-click on the spot you want centered and select "Center" from the drop-down menu.
• When using the tool, hold down the mouse button to scroll around your city.

Warning: There is a nefarious use for this tool found in Section 8.3 (E A G).

PlayStation Note: On PlayStation, the omnipresent mouse pointer serves as a centering device.
