From the starting position, use the Spin Dash to break through the initial walls and pass the Starpost (a checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death)).

When a wall begins moving towards you, use the Spin Dash to break through more walls and then drop down.

Grab the 1-Up item and drop down again.

Use the Spin Dash to break through the final series of walls; the moving wall will then stop.

Spin Dash onto the spinning pillar above and use the air fans to ascend.

Run down the slope and proceed left.

As you ascend the next slope, pass the Starpost and run through the loop de loop.

Go down the slopes and Spin Dash onto the next pillar.

Ascend using the fans and run down the slope.

Spin Dash through the walls and run up the slope.

Grab the Invincibility power-up in the passageway to your left.

Go down the slopes and climb up the moving platforms.

As Sonic, use the platforms to move left and jump through a fake wall to find a passageway containing the Giant Ring. As Tails, you can fly to it.
