Walkthrough
- 1Ride the cup and proceed right.
- 2Jump up the spring and go left.
- 3Pass the Starpost and use the gravelling hooks.
- 4Hop across the platforms and pass another Starpost.
- 5Avoid the flame blasters as you drop down.
- 6Go left and enter the small passageway.
- 7Destroy the switch and drop down.
- 8Enter the water and Spin Dash through the wall.
- 9Go right and head through the pipe.
- 10Go down the slopes and ride the cup.
- 11Warning: Going right instead of riding the cup will trigger a glitch that stops Sonic/Tails from moving, requiring a Time Over to continue. To avoid this, ride the cup and enter the water.
- 12Go right and ride the cups.
- 13On the last cup, you will be sent flying right; jump off to avoid this.
- 14Head past the Starpost and go right to fight the 1st of 2 Boss Battles.
Boss Battle: Dr. Robotnik's Ball Launcher Machine - 8 Hits
Strategy:
- The machine copies your movements.
- Take out the spikes individually; each spike takes 3 hits to destroy.
- If you are patient and hit them one at a time, 1 of the 2 spikes will be destroyed, making the Mini-Boss Battle much easier.
- If you can hit the machine 3 more times, you'll win.
