    In Act 2, begin by Spin Dashing through walls and passing the Starpost.

    When a moving wall approaches, continue Spin Dashing through walls and drop down.

    Note that the spring from Sonic The Hedgehog 3 has been replaced by a 1-Up; grab it and drop down.

  • Strategy: When the machine charges, Spin Dash in the opposite direction to evade. After a while, it will connect to the pillar above and create a whirlpool. Attack the machine to damage it. If it takes off again, wait for it to reconnect to the pillar before attacking.
