Time Attack

Master Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Time Attack mode to practice skills and save your best times for any zone, recording the character used for each record.

Time Attack in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a single-player mode designed for practicing your skills, especially for the two-player zones. Unlike Grand Prix and Match Race, only one player can participate. You can select any zone to race in, and the game automatically saves your Best Times for each zone. The character you choose when achieving a Best Time is also recorded. If you have three Best Times saved and achieve a better one, your lowest recorded time will be erased to make room for the new higher record.

Characters:

When you play the three modes (Time Attack, Grand Prix, and Match Race) in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, you can choose from three characters: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. You can switch between these characters by pressing Left and Right on your controller.
