EggRobo will use his 2 hands to crush you, but you can use them to climb up the robot and hit the laser cannon. The armour of the robot will fall apart, revealing EggRobo in the process. Hit him a few times and jump off the robot, as the armour will cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) it up again.

- Jump off the robot before the armor covers it again.
Once you have opened the Prison Egg, you'll automatically head right and Knuckles will enter Lava Reef Zone.
