Navigate Floor 13 in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks! Learn how to deal with Warp Phantoms and Phantom Eyes, find Tears of Light, and grab essential keys.
Alright, welcome to Floor 13! Thankfully, this one doesn't have any dark rooms, but it does introduce a couple of new baddies: Warp Phantoms and Phantom Eyes. Think of those Phantom Eyes as the eyes for the Warp Phantoms. If one spots you, the Warp Phantom will instantly warp to your location and start chasing you. Yikes! Unlike in Phantom Hourglass, you can't permanently get rid of most of these Phantom Eyes, so be careful. We've got two Tears of Light to snag here.
- 1First off, take a right, then head north. You'll see a Phantom Eye guarding a Tear of Light. Your goal is to stun it with your Boomerang before it spots you, then quickly move in to defeat it. Grab that first Tear!
- 2Now, head south where you'll find two torches. You need to light the southeast torch using your Boomerang and the already lit torch. This action will cause a chest to appear to the north. Head over there, making sure to avoid the Phantom Eye's gaze, and open the chest to get a small key. Nice!
- 3Up here, hit the switch on the right. This will extend a bridge connecting two platforms in the southwest corner. Make your way over to this high ledge. You'll see three fish heads. The middle one has a sword stuck in it. Use your Whip to pull the sword out, then throw it into the fish head on the right. This makes another chest appear in the southwest corner. Heads up: If you accidentally put the sword in the left head, an extra Warp Phantom would spawn, and trust me, you don't want that complication.
- 4Now, swing across to the west. Just be sure there isn't a Phantom Eye lurking below – if there is, you're pretty much stuck and might have to restart. Keep swinging west, then head south, and finally east.
- 5Before you swing north, there's another Phantom Eye around the corner. Stun it with your Boomerang, then swing across, defeat it, and collect your second Tear of Light.
- 6Swing back the way you came, then head over to the southwest corner. Get onto one of the platforms and cross the bridge you extended earlier. Open the chest there for another small key.
- 7Use this small key on the locked door right here. This will open up a switch that you'll need later.
- 8Finally, carefully make your way to the northeast corner and open the locked door. Head upstairs to the next floor!
- Always keep your Boomerang ready to stun those Phantom Eyes before they can alert the Warp Phantoms.
- Be mindful of the fish head puzzle – putting the sword in the wrong one causes trouble!
- Don't rush the swinging sections; make sure the path ahead is clear of Phantom Eyes.
