Solve the block puzzle on Floor 18 (2) in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks to get a small key and rare treasure.
Walkthrough
- 1Begin by moving the large block in the southeast corner. Pull the small block north, go around it, and push it north again. Push it west to clear the path.
- 2Have Zelda pull the large block west, then north, and finally west again.
- 3Direct Link to push the small block south into the small hall, then pull it east. Go around it, push it east again, go around again, and pull it north about three notches. Pull it east until it stops.
- 4Have Zelda move the other large block north, push it east against the wall, then south onto the ground switch.
- 5Have Zelda pull the large block beside her west to access the rest of the floor.
- 6To activate the northeast switches, have Zelda pull the northeast large block west about two notches.
- 7Position the small block in the middle by having Link push it east until it is one tile from the east wall. Push it north all the way, then east. Push it onto one of the switches.
- 8In the northwest corner, move the small block completely out of the corner. Have Zelda move the large block onto the two ground switches.
- 9In the southwest corner, have Zelda pull the large block east until she cannot move it further.
- 10Move the small block to the ground switch in the southwest corner. You will need to go around it and push it onto the switch.
- 11Have Zelda stand on the remaining ground switch that is not pressed down. Spikes will retract.
- 12Pass the spikes with Link and open the chest to obtain a small key.
- 13Before returning upstairs from the center room, exit it with both Link and Zelda.
- 14Head west of the floor entrance to find a large block. Have Zelda pull it north to create a path for Link.
- 15Move through the newly opened path and open the chest to find a rare piece of treasure.
- 16Head upstairs from the center room.
Tips
- Zelda can move large blocks by tracing a path into them, causing arrows to appear. Tracing a path towards an arrow moves the block. The distance traced beyond the arrow determines how far the block moves.
- Pay close attention to the minimap (the small map displayed on the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) to keep track of block positions and activated switches.
- Ensure Link and Zelda are positioned correctly to avoid getting blocked by the blocks you are moving.
