    Emerge in a large room with scattered tiles and head south to another room.

    Encounter a blue worm called a Blastworm. Hit it once to make it curl into a spiky ball, then hit it again to make it blow up.

    Use a curled-up Blastworm to blast away blocks to the right, clearing poison mist and allowing you to cross a pit.

    Step on a ground switch along the way to make a chest appear on the other side. Open it for a piece of treasure.

    When ready, head upstairs again into the boss chamber.

Boss: Stagnox, Armored Colossus

Stagnox is a giant stag beetle whose abdomen is its weakness. It covers its abdomen with poison mist.

Phase 1:

  1. Stagnox will constantly face you. Stay still until it moves forward to attempt to knock you around with its horns.
  2. Move away and quickly get behind it.
  3. Use the Whirlwind to blow away the mist covering its abdomen.
  4. Strike its abdomen until it turns around.
  5. Repeat this process.

Phase 2:

  1. Stagnox will start flying around the room and stop in front of you on the top screen.
  2. It will spawn three Blastworms and throw them down towards you.
  3. Kill all but one Blastworm, ensuring it is curled up.
  4. Keep the Whirlwind aimed at the curled-up Blastworm.
  5. Wait for Stagnox to come flying down towards you.
  6. Blow a whirlwind towards the Blastworm while aiming at Stagnox. This will cause the Blastworm to explode in Stagnox's face, making it fall on its back.
  7. Slash its abdomen while it is vulnerable.
