Navigate Floor 2 (13) in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks using the Sand Wand to stop spike logs and defeat Gerunes. Find hidden chests.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head south. You will find rolling spike logs blocking your path. Use the Sand Wand to raise the sand and stop some of the spike logs, allowing you to pass.
  2. 2
Before leaving this room, use the Sand Wand to raise the sand under Link and by the left alcove to open a chest containing a Red Rupee.
  3. 3
To get the second chest, keep the sand raised by hovering the Sand Wand's orb. Stop the rightmost spiked log so it lines up with the right alcove. Walk along the log and open the chest to find a rare piece of Treasure.
  4. 4
Exit this room by heading south, then go back west.
  5. 5
You will encounter Gerune enemies. Use the Sand Wand on them to harden them and make them brittle. They will attempt to flee, but continue using the Sand Wand. Once they are fully brittle and stop moving, slash them to defeat them.
  6. 6
Defeating the Gerunes will cause the doors to open. Head north, avoiding the rolling spiked log.
  7. 7
Raise yourself onto the north ledge.
  8. 8
Observe the ground below to the south that does not have sand. You need to stop the spiked log on this area so you can cross it to head downstairs. Use the Sand Wand to stop the spiked log.
Tips
  • The Sand Wand is essential for both environmental puzzles and combat on this floor.
  • Pay attention to the minimap (a map displayed on the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), showing your immediate surroundings) to orient yourself.
  • Be patient when lining up the spike logs for the treasure chest.
