So, you've helped your first Campsite visitor find a home and now you're ready to expand your island's population? Awesome! Tom Nook, ever the entrepreneur, is ready to sell you more land plots so you can invite even more villagers to live with you.

Buying Land for Housing Plots:

Just like everything else in Animal Crossing, there's a cost involved. Nook will charge you 10,000 Bells for each plot of land you reserve. It might seem a bit steep, but think of it as an investment! When new villagers move into these plots, you'll earn some Nook Miles back as a thank you. You can place up to 4 more plots, which means your island can eventually have a maximum of 10 villagers. If you're aiming for a full island, that's 40,000 Bells to get all the plots. It's totally doable, and honestly, the more residents you have, the more lively and appealing your island will feel!

How to Get Villagers to Move In:

Once you've got those plots ready, you'll need to find some new residents. Here are the main ways to do it:

• Wait for Nook to fill the spaces: If you're not picky about who moves in, you can just wait. Nook will automatically fill empty plots, but only one per day.
• Find Villagers on Mystery Islands: This is the method I'd recommend! Take a Nook Miles Ticket and head out on a mystery tour. You'll have a chance to encounter all sorts of villagers on these islands, and you get to pick exactly who you want to invite. It's the best way to find your absolute dream villagers!
• Wait for Campsite Visitors: Keep an eye on your Campsite. Whenever a visitor shows up, you'll always have the option to invite them to live on your island.

Soon enough, your empty plots will be filled with new faces, making your island feel even more like home!
