Master Spy Hunt

Your guide to the Master Spy Hunt in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Learn how to find the Spy HQ, eliminate targets, and chase down the Master Spy.

Alright, so you've cleared out all the other Spy hunts and hideouts, and now it's time for the big one: the Master Spy Hunt. To kick things off, head over to the radio room in the northern tower of the Tower Bridge. Chat with your WWI associate there, and your next objective marker will pop up just west of the southern end of the bridge.

When you get to the marker, you'll see a building and a search area. Your mission is to find the entrance to the Spy HQ. Use your Eagle Vision – the entrance is on the second floor. You can get there either through an open window on the west side or a door on the east side of the building.

Once you're inside and up the stairs, you'll find a door. Go through it, and switch on Eagle Vision again. You're looking for a trail of footprints that lead to a glowing bookshelf. Interact with that bookshelf, and bam! A secret room opens up behind it.

Inside this little room, you'll see four red markers – these are your targets. There's a generator behind the bookcase you can sabotage to draw a couple of them out for an easy takedown, but honestly, you can take them all down however you like. I found throwing knives worked pretty well, but do what feels right for you.

After you've dealt with all four Spies, a door will open, and out pops the Master Spy himself. Go ahead and attack him. He won't stick around for long; after you land a few hits, he'll toss a smoke bomb and make a run for it.

As soon as you regain control, bail out the window and get on his tail! The best way to catch him is to keep him highlighted in yellow while you're running and shoot him with your pistol. Each hit will make him pause, giving you a chance to close the distance. Keep doing that until you're close enough to tackle him or perform an assassination to finish him off.

Once the Master Spy is down, some other Spies will show up to attack you. You can either fight them off or just make a break for it, lose them, and become anonymous. Either way, as soon as you're out of the restricted area, you'll complete this memory.
