Follow our guide to complete Memory 02: Operation Locomotive in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. We'll help you defeat the target and catch the runaway train!
Walkthrough
- 1After chatting with the Queen, head to the police station marked on your map. Go to the top floor and find your target inside a cell. Approach him to start the fight. He's Level 10, so be ready for a challenge, especially since the sunlight can make his counter-flash hard to see. Try to lure him away from the windows. Stick to standard combat: use counters and guard breaks when prompted, and attack when you have an opening.
- 2Once you've beaten him, he'll spill the beans on your next objective, and a new marker will pop up.
- 3As soon as the fight ends, a 2:30 timer starts. You need to get to the objective marker and stop a runaway train. Immediately jump out the window and grab a carriage. Follow the GPS route to a tunnel with train tracks above. If you're fast, the train will be moving slowly as it passes over.
- 4Hop out of the carriage and use your Rope Launcher to get up to the train tracks, then climb onto the train itself.
- 5Your goal is the carriage right before the locomotive at the front. There are Templars blocking your path, and time is tight. You *can* go through the train cars, but you'll run into a lot more enemies. It's much faster to stick to the rooftops of the carriages and deal with the fewer enemies up there.
- 6When you reach the car just before the locomotive, you'll find the objective marker. Drop down and interact with the coupling to detach the locomotive. Do this successfully, and after a little celebratory flair, the memory will be complete!
Tips
- Try to lure the target away from the windows in the police station so the sunlight doesn't obscure his counter-flash.
- Sticking to the rooftops of the train cars is significantly faster than fighting your way through the interiors.
- Don't dawdle! You only have 2:30 to reach and stop the train once the timer starts.
