Alright, this is our first taste of a Gang Stronghold activity in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. You'll actually be able to attempt 11 more of these after this one, so consider this your training mission! Basically, we need to sneak into a restricted area and take out all the Blighter thugs hanging around. The game usually gives you a target number of enemies to defeat to claim the area.

Important: Remember, for Gang Strongholds, you absolutely must complete any optional objectives *before* you take down the final enemy. If you don't, you'll fail the objective and miss out!

Walkthrough

    You'll start outside the restricted area. Your main goal is to eliminate the Blighter presence. Most of them will be patrolling set routes or just standing around. Keep an eye out for a sniper on a balcony at the back of the area – they can be a real pain if you don't spot them.

    A good way to deal with isolated enemies is to use throwing knives from the rooftops. It's quiet and effective. You can also observe their patrol patterns and use stealth assassinations to thin the herd.

    There's one optional objective: free a captive named Clinker. You'll find him on the southern side of the area, chilling in a small courtyard, guarded by a couple of Thugs. Deal with his guards first.

    Use your Eagle Vision (just press the button, usually R3/RS) to easily spot all the enemies and locate the Clinker. The image shows you how it looks – enemies glow red, and the Clinker is marked.

    Once you've dealt with all the enemies and freed the Clinker, a short cutscene will play to confirm your success. Huzzah!

  • Use throwing knives from rooftops to take out isolated enemies quietly.
  • Observe enemy patrol patterns to plan your stealth assassinations.
  • Don't forget to use Eagle Vision to easily locate all targets and the Clinker.
