Alright, so you've found your way to Erdrick's Future Home, which is basically a past version of a familiar place. When you arrive, you'll be in a small room with a bunch of folks. Your main goal here is to help out a woman who's planning to marry Ortega, but the townsfolk are acting a bit strange about it all. She'll give you a quest called An Endangered Engagement, and you'll need to grab some Defuddle Drops for her.

To get those drops, you'll need to head over to the Altar of the Starry Skies, which is also known as The Observatory. Once you're there, find and talk to Pavo. He'll give you the Defuddle Drops you need. After you've got them, head back to Erdrick's Future Home and give them to the bride-to-be.

Heads up! Before you hand over those drops, make sure you're ready for a boss fight. You'll be up against the Archfiend's Acolyte. This guy relies heavily on magic, so be prepared! He's got Whoosh, which hits your whole party for decent damage, and Frizzle, a fire spell that can zap one person for over 60 damage. To make things even trickier, he can use Dazzle to mess with your party's accuracy, making physical attacks less likely to hit. He can also put a single character to sleep by doing something with his eyes. This fight can take a bit, as the boss has around 700 HP. Frizzle can be a real pain early on, but there's a trick to make this much easier.

If you can get Fizzle to land on the Acolyte with Serena, you'll shut down his powerful spells like Whoosh and Frizzle. This drastically cuts down his damage output. Keep Fizzle on him as much as possible, and this fight becomes a lot more manageable.

Once you've taken down the Archfiend's Acolyte, you'll wrap up this little side story and get a Gold Rosary as your reward. Nice!
