So, if you make sure those last three enemies are Bunicorns, you're guaranteed a Bunny Tail! This is way less of a headache than just hoping for a drop after each fight.

Early Game vs. Later Game:

You *can* try to farm Bunny Tails early on, but it's going to be a lot easier and more efficient once you have Erik in your party, and even better once you unlock Hallelujah with Jade. If you're really struggling early, you could also try using Erik's Half-Inch ability to steal the Leather Hat, which might leave the Bunny Tail as the only option for a drop. But honestly, holding out for Hallelujah is probably your best bet for smooth sailing.
