Alright, let's get Huang to join your crew in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes! He's a pretty straightforward recruit, but you'll need to do a bit of fishing for him.

Where to Find Huang:

Your first encounter with Huang will be in Arenside, a town located in Grum County North. To get there, you'll need to pass through Fort Xialuke. Once you're in Arenside, make your way to the southwestern part of town. Speak with him there, and he'll give you a Bamboo Rod. This is your introduction to fishing, but don't worry about that too much right now – the main goal is to get Huang to join you.

You'll run into Huang again later in Hishahn, specifically on the southern end of the city. If this is your first time talking to him in Hishahn, he'll give you the fishing rod here if you haven't received it already. He'll mention wanting to join your Alliance, but there's a catch (literally!). You need to catch a Wheel-Eye Bream for him, as it's said to bring good luck.

Wheel-Eye Bream Location:

Now, for the fishing part. You'll need to head to the Euchrisse region to fish for this specific bream. It's not at a typical dock, which makes it a bit tricky to find. Start from Hishahn and head east, continuing past the road that goes south. At the next intersection, take the southeast path, and you'll arrive at the Seaside Cavern. Be aware that the enemies around here can be a bit tougher, so it's best to avoid going inside the cavern itself for now.

Instead, look southwest on your map. You'll see two small landmasses sticking out. The one to the southeast is where you want to be. The fishing spot is right at the very bottom tip of this southeastern piece of land. The reason it's hard to spot is that there's no dock, so you'll likely stumble upon it by chance. Once you're there, be prepared to fish for a while. There are various fish in this spot, and it's not uncommon to fish for a long time without catching the Wheel-Eye Bream.

What if you don't catch it?

If you're having trouble, don't despair! You can simply wait right there on the map (not in a menu) for about 10 minutes in real-time, and the fish should respawn. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, you can venture into the Seaside Cavern. Make your way deep inside, past an Iron Ore deposit, and you'll find another hidden fishing spot near a small shack. This spot *might* have a slightly better chance of yielding the Wheel-Eye Bream, but you'll have to deal with dungeon enemies to get there. The first spot is definitely the easier option.

Once you've finally caught that elusive Wheel-Eye Bream, head back to Huang. Talk to him, and he'll officially join your Alliance!
