    Leave HQ, head south, and pass the Dappled Forest to reach Eldroad. Grab healing items before entering.

    After a cutscene, proceed along the main path. A red chest containing an Anti-Petrify Scarf is found down a flight of stairs.

    Enter the old ruins on the main path. At the end, a blue treasure chest holds the Dragon Doria Recipe.

    Continue to a long bridge. Use the save point here before facing the Elder Dragon mini-boss.

    After defeating the Elder Dragon, continue towards the exit. A dead end on the way contains a chest with a Bloodstained Helmet.

    Near the exit, take a right into another dead end to find a chest with the Faded Book, Chapter 15.

    Exit Eldroad to arrive in Yarnaan. You will face four Corpse Knights. Defeat one to trigger a cutscene.

    Speak with Markus again. Use the stone in the center of the structure to go to the third floor and meet the Elder.

    Stock up on items and rest. Alwe and Nil will join your party.

    Head back down to the first floor and exit left into the Norristar region. Make your way to Arthabalt in the center.

    Enter the palace in Arthabalt to speak with Sallas Baelrant, initiating the next story quest, "In The Land of Snow."
