Learn how to unlock and master Eggfoot Racing in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Discover egg locations, stats, skills, and breeding mechanics to become the ultimate Eggfoot racer.

Eggfoot Racing is a minigame in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes that unlocks after progressing through the Euchrisse region. To access it, you must first construct the Mission Guild, which requires an item found in the Den of the Dunes or the second area of Bounty Hill. Once unlocked, the Racing Stables are located west of the Hot Spring Entrance, south of the teleporter stone.

Speak to Paquia at the Racing Stables to begin. You will need to hatch eggs to get racers. There are three types: Regular Eggs, Promising Eggs, and Champion Eggs. Regular Eggs can be purchased from Paquia after building the stables. Upgrading the stables to HQ Level 3 allows the purchase of Promising Eggs, and further upgrades enable the purchase of Champion Eggs. Otherwise, these eggs must be farmed from specific enemies.

Egg Locations

Different enemies drop various types of eggs:

  • Regular Egg: Dropped by Shell Egg (Grum County world map), Odd Egg (Kyshiri Village world map), and Eggfoot (Headquarters world map).
  • Promising Egg: Dropped by Eggfoot (Headquarters world map), Flying Egg (Great Sandy Sea), and Qualasmi (Bounty Hill; Third area).
  • Champion Egg: Dropped by Qualasmi (Bounty Hill; Third area), Mach Egg (Imperial Army Headquarters), and Frost Shell (The Whitecrowns).

Eggfoot Stats

Hatching an egg takes 15 minutes or one race. Each Eggfoot has stats that determine its racing performance. Two crucial stats are Start Race, indicating the number of races the Eggfoot can participate in, and Feed, representing how many times its stats can be boosted after a race. Once Start Race reaches zero, the Eggfoot can no longer race. After each race, you have five options to feed your Eggfoot: four options to boost individual stats, and one option for a balanced boost to all stats.

Eggfoot Skills

Finishing first in races rewards you with Fruits of Knowledge, which can be fed to your Eggfoots to grant them skills that activate during races. These skills are random and can have one to three stars, indicating their potency. Superior and Supreme fruits offer a better chance at higher-starred skills. You can equip a maximum of two skills per Eggfoot.

Available Skills:

  • Once more: Speed up temporarily after recovering stamina.
  • I’ll catch up: Speed up temporarily, more each time you’re overtaken while out of stamina.
  • On a roll: Speed up temporarily when overtaking.
  • Wait for me: Speed up instantly and temporarily increase max speed when overtaken.
  • Step on it: Speed up temporarily.
  • Here I come: Speed up instantly and temporarily increase max speed.
  • Second wind: Recover stamina.
  • I’m with you: Use less stamina temporarily.
  • All ready: Recover stamina when terrain changes.
  • Gotta move: Recover stamina faster over time based on position.
  • Can’t stop me: Recover stamina when an item interferes with you.
  • Wait a sec: Use an interference item that reduces the top speed of opponents right in front of you.
  • Keep away: Use an interference item that reduces the top speed of opponents right behind you.
  • Not so fast: Use an interference item that slows down a single opponent right in front of you.
  • Don’t leave me: Activate an interference item that reduces the top speed of all racers.

Eggfoot Breeding

Eggfoot breeding is possible only after an Eggfoot has exhausted its Feed opportunities (when the Feed number reaches zero). To enable breeding, you must race two Eggfoots the number of times corresponding to their respective Feed numbers.
