Walkthrough
  1. 1
Begin the battle by swapping out units for your strongest available, keeping in mind that unit leaders are locked.
  2. 2
Move your units one tile forward and hold position initially.
  3. 3
A large creature will be summoned and spew fire; after its second fire breath, a cutscene will remove it from the fight.
  4. 4
The turn after the creature is removed, another cutscene will remove the undead from the battlefield.
  5. 5
You will receive reinforcements: Lakian and Elektra will join as guests and immediately attack Kenani troops.
  6. 6
Vorrdice and Viesskin will betray Val Maurice and join your side.
  7. 7
Goldwyn will join the Alliance shortly after.
  8. 8
The war battle is heavily influenced by cutscenes that shift the tide in your favor.
  9. 9
Enemy forces will likely divide into two or three groups.
  10. 10
When your controllable allies reach the enemies, use your Legion Commands.
  11. 11
Prioritize saving Aldric for last if possible, as he is the toughest enemy unit.
  12. 12
Upon winning the war battle, you will be transported to the Imperial Army Headquarters, a dungeon with no chests but consumable items from glowing spots. You can proceed directly to the boss fight with Heinrich.

Heinrich Boss Guide

Stats / Weaknesses:

  • Weakness: Fire Resistance (Equipment or Rune).
  • Attacks: Physical (3 hits, 50-100 damage), Inferno Pillar (fire spell, single target), Flames of Perdition (fire spell, party-wide), Fire God’s Sword (buffs physical attack).
  • Accompanying Enemies: Two Imperial Elites (fodder).

Phases:

  1. Phase 1: Heinrich primarily uses physical attacks and Inferno Pillar.
  2. Phase 2 (Certain HP Threshold): Heinrich begins using Flames of Perdition (party-wide damage) and Fire God’s Sword (buffs physical attack).

Strategy:

  • Equip items or Runes that grant fire resistance.
  • Keep your party's health full at all times, especially when Heinrich uses his buff and party-wide spells.
  • Focus damage on Heinrich, pushing to defeat him quickly once he enters his second phase.
  • The accompanying Imperial Elites are weak and can be ignored or quickly dispatched.
  • Rune of Conflagration.
  • After the battle and subsequent scenes, Goldwyn, Elektra, Maxim, Vorrdice, and Viesskin will join your army at the castle.
  • If all other characters have been recruited, Leene will join your team after exiting the castle and approaching the central structure for a scene.
  • The next objective is retaking Eltisweiss.
