    The Great Wood is located south of your headquarters. Head up and take a left to a dead end to find a chest with 1,500 Baqua. Continue forward, past the sinking plants, to find another chest with Scale Armor. Around the next curve, a chest on the right contains x3 Runeshard of Fire 1. Before proceeding, grab the chest above the river containing 1,500 Baqua.

    After crossing the river, take the south path. An island in the river holds a chest with Anti-Confuse Beads and Gieran (recruitable after obtaining the Rune of Conservation from the boss). Continue north and across the river to find a chest with x6 Healing Herb.

    Save at the save point before entering the Great Wood East Depths. When the path splits, go left. You will be swallowed by a monster and sent to an area with a chest containing Hard Scale Band. Use the plant to return and head to the center area where three paths converge.

    Take the north path. Go around the tree using the right path to find a chest with x2 Revival Medicine. Use the plant you passed to be sent to an area with a blue chest containing Necklace.

    Return to the split path and take the right path. A plant here will send you to the next save point. Heal and prepare for the Ancient Seed mini-boss just beyond.

    After defeating the Ancient Seed, you will reach Treefolk Village. Visit the inn to heal and restock.
Tips
  • The Sky Sahagin can damage two party members at once if they are in a straight line.
  • Ensure you have a character with a Water Rune (like Francesca) for healing against the Ancient Seed's Throw Up and claw attacks.
  • Consider using Hero Combos if your party setup allows for faster defeat of the Ancient Seed.
  • Recruiting Gieran requires the Rune of Conservation, dropped by the boss in this area. You may need to progress further in the story to recruit him if you miss him initially.
