Bond with Chicken Race Receptionist

You can find the Chicken Racing Den near the western end of Rakugai, in the Umekojicho region. To increase your bond, simply watch the chicken races. After your first race, you'll receive a significant bond boost. Repeat this process, watching a race and then exiting the den, to gain roughly a 20% boost each time. Around 60% bond, the receptionist will express distress over a lost bet. After another race and exit, he'll reveal his financial woes. Upon returning later, you'll find him winning, but nervous. He'll ask Ryoma to place his final bet. Regardless of your choice, you will receive a Broken Compass, maxing out your bond and earning 2,250 Virtue.

Bond with Uji Tea Parlor Girl

The Uji Tea Parlor is located along the western edge of Rakugai in the West Umekojicho area. Speak with the receptionist, Sumire, and purchase any drinks or meals to begin building your bond. Each purchase grants a small bond increase. Purchasing all items on the menu will cost 3,080 mon over nine visits and contributes to the "Restaurant Rookie" tasks and the "I'll Have One of Everything" achievement. Once your bond reaches about 60%, after purchasing food, Ryoma will overhear Sumire sighing. She'll reveal her boyfriend is a lout, and Ryoma will encourage her to break up with him. Return on your next visit to find Sumire with her boyfriend, Shinsuke. Ryoma will fight Shinsuke to end their relationship. After defeating Shinsuke, Sumire will thank Ryoma, hinting at romantic interest. Your bond will be maxed, and you'll earn 2,250 Virtue.

Bond with Rakugai Arms Dealer

The Rakugai Arms Dealer's shop is located in the western part of Rakugai, southeast of the Uji Tea Parlor. To start this bond, make any purchase from the proprietor. To increase the bond, continue making purchases; the number of transactions is what matters, not the items or cost. At certain bond levels, he will ask Ryoma questions, but your responses do not affect the outcome. Maxing this bond requires 27 transactions. The cheapest item, a Bundle Blade, costs 1,000 mon, making the total cost 27,000 mon (2 ryo, 7,000 mon). Upon completion, you will receive a Dragon Fang, and the dealer will unlock his "special stock" (Worn Swords, Bundle Blades, and Handy Blades). You will also earn 2,250 Virtue.
