Once that's done, make your way to the shrine in Mibu. You'll spot a father and son there – go chat with them to kick things off.

Now, get ready, because you're actually going to fight a bear! This guy's pretty tough, so you'll want to be careful and avoid getting hit. The good news is that its attacks are usually pretty telegraphed, and it doesn't string together long combos. Your Swordsman style is going to be your best friend here, as it's perfect for one-on-one duels. Remember to hold down R1/RB to enter your stance; this lets you keep a close eye on the bear's every move.
