Ginryu is the Master for the Swordsmen and Wild Dancer styles, and he can be found at the Ginryu Dojo in the northwest of Rakunai, west of the Palanquin Fast Travel. Swordsmen Training:

This can be repeated as long as you have Heat remaining, as each attack consumes a small amount.
Training 1 - Splendid Skill: Morning Mist
This ability is learned during the first training session. It can only be performed during an evade (pressing / ). While evading towards an enemy, press the / button to stab them. While it does little damage, it's useful for closing distance and interrupting enemies.
Training 2 - Splendid Skill: Lightning’s Glory
This training requires you to equip a Good (Blue) grade sword before speaking to Ginryu. It’s a powerful reversal unleashed just before an enemy attacks, requiring you to press + / + at the right moment, similar to parries. This training also involves a battle against his students where you must achieve a Battle Rank of Solid or above by varying your combos and avoiding attacks through guarding, parrying, or evading.
Training 3 - Essence of Scintillant Lead
To begin this training, you must have a Great (Purple) grade weapon equipped. This ability allows you to cut through oncoming bullets by pressing / when an enemy at a distance fires a firearm. The training involves a battle against the star student, Heinosuke, where you must achieve at least a Sharp Battle Ranking. This is best done by taking your time, using diverse combos, finishing the fight undamaged, activating Heat Actions (without duplicating them), and concluding with a special move. After defeating Heinosuke, Ginryu will need to rest, requiring you to leave and return later.
Training 4 - Splendid Skill: Rustling Leaves
After completing Training 3, you will have a brief scene with the students. Return to the Dojo, and Ginryu will offer this training for free due to the previous incident. This defensive skill allows you to disarm an enemy by entering a stance with / and pressing / just as an attack lands.
