Alright, let's tackle Substory 07, also known as 'Ee Ja Nai for Justice,' in Like a Dragon: Ishin!. This one kicks off in Chapter 3.

How to Start:

First off, you'll need to head over to the Rakunai district. Once you're there, find the area called the fragmented Shinmeicho. It's basically a street located just west of the Shogi Parlor, which itself is off Shijo Street. You can't miss it – there'll be a bunch of peasants doing this weird, energetic dance. Just walk up to them, and the substory will start automatically.

How to Defeat the Ruffians:

So, you approach the dancers, and Ryoma's got some history with this 'Ee Ja Nai' dance craze. Before he can even get involved, a Corrupt Official shows up with his goons. Yeah, the name isn't subtle, and he lives up to it. He starts laying into the dancers, not just for their silly dancing but for what it actually represents. When he orders his thugs to shut them up, Ryoma steps in, and guess who becomes the target? Yep, you!

You'll be facing off against three Ruffians. Unlike the random street thugs, these guys are a bit tougher and have a decent chunk of health. They fight pretty standardly, though, taking turns to attack, which gives you plenty of openings to combo them. Feel free to use whichever combat style you're most comfortable with here.

Once you've dealt with them, the Corrupt Official will bail out, looking pretty embarrassed. The peasants' situation probably won't change much long-term, but they'll take the victory and invite Ryoma to join their dance. You'll get 525 Virtue for finishing this, and one of the peasants will toss you a Tranquil Towel.
