Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Part 42 walkthrough covering the hospital puzzles, Nemesis encounters, and Jill's recovery. Learn how to cure Jill and escape the hospital.
Walkthrough
- 1In Room 507 (Room 402), push the medical cabinet into the correct corner to mirror Room 401's placement. If incorrect, Carlos gets shocked and the room resets.
- 2Solving the cabinet puzzle reveals a wall safe. Enter the three-digit code (104, 253, 325, or 531) obtained from Room 401 to get the VACCINE BASE.
- 3Combine the VACCINE BASE with the VACCINE MEDIUM to create the VACCINE.
- 4Return to 504 Hospital Hallway 4F. If no zombies appeared earlier, you'll face two Hunter Betas. Use the explosive box or your rifle.
- 5Proceed to 503 Doctor's Office. Enemy placement varies: five Zombies, two Hunters, or the room may be empty depending on previous encounters.
- 6Save at 502 Receptionist's Office if desired.
- 7In 501 Hospital Lobby, a bomb will detonate in approximately seven seconds. Escape quickly.
- 8Proceed to 601 Park Street for a cutscene, or alternatively to 413 Art Gallery (dodge Worms or Zombies), 412 Web Gallery, or 406 Study.
- 9In 405 Tower Hall 1F, Nemesis (version 2.0) appears. Run to the Dining Room to escape his tentacle attacks. His new attack pattern focuses on his right arm's tentacles.
- 10In 404 Dining Room, continue towards the Ballroom. If Nemesis followed, lure him away from the next door by firing at him.
- 11In 402 Ballroom, Nemesis crashes through. Keep running towards the Chapel. If Nemesis breaks down the door, he will kill Jill, resulting in a Game Over.
- 12In 403 Chapel, check on Jill to trigger a cutscene where Carlos administers the Vaccine. Jill is now back in control.
- 13Prepare for Nemesis and bring your LOCKPICK.
- 14In 402 Ballroom (as Jill), Nemesis will break through the Dining Room door. He attacks with long-range tentacles.
Tips
- Remember the location of the cabinet in Room 401 to correctly solve the puzzle in Room 402.
- Conserve rifle ammo for tougher enemies like Hunter Betas.
- The bomb in the hospital lobby is a strict timer; prioritize escape.
- In encounters with Nemesis, focus on evasion by staying to his left side.
- In the Ballroom, a direct path to the Chapel is the safest way to avoid Nemesis breaking down the door and causing a Game Over.
