From the previous area, deal with three Zombies in the narrow passage and collect two GREEN HERBS.

Enter the Control Tower (713). After a cutscene where Carlos informs Jill about a helicopter and a missile, collect MAGNUM BULLETS from a cabinet to the left of the door and a FAS from a cabinet on the east wall.

Examine the square floor hatch in the center to trigger a missile warning and start an impact countdown timer. The hatch opens to a ladder. You have a generous amount of time, but do not delay.

Path B: Factory Sewer Entrance (612): Climb out of the river onto the riverbank next to the sewer tunnel entrance. Step into the sewer and climb the ladder.

Enter the Factory Sewer (707). You cannot return to the Factory Sewer Entrance. Duck into the first alcove on your right.

In Sewage Monitoring (708), find a saferoom with an Item Box and Typewriter, along with an INK RIBBON.

Walk straight ahead from the door and use the glowing control panel to receive the WATER SAMPLE. Grab the SECURITY MANUAL (#28) from a small desk. Proceed through the next door. (Note: File #28 is found before #27 in this path).

Enter the Sewer Lab (709). Head down the staircase. Find a FAS on a metal cabinet. You may find three GUNPOWDER A and three GUNPOWDER B bottles here or further ahead.

Behind the cabinet with the FAS, use the WATER SAMPLE on the testing machine to start a water testing puzzle.

Water Testing Puzzle: Adjust the ranges of the A, B, and C waves to match the total range of the water sample by moving the red, yellow, and blue cells. The goal is to match the height of the white columns.

Possible solutions for the puzzle are provided for Combinations 1-4, detailing the required movements for A, B, and C.

Solving the puzzle releases part of the lock on a door ahead in 704 Treatment Control. Return to 707 Factory Sewer.

Back in the Factory Sewer (707), walk down the hall. A cutscene begins where Carlos informs Jill about the nuke. Proceed down the hall and into the other alcove.

Enter the Decomposing Pool (706). This room contains an explosive barrel and potential enemy encounters: five zombies, three Drain Deimoses, three Brain Suckers, or three Hunter Betas.

Lure enemies towards the red barrel to conserve ammo. Walk up the stairs to attract them, then turn back towards the door and aim at the barrel.

After clearing the enemies, check a small metal shelf next to the glowing control.
