Part 54

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis item locations and uses, including the Fire Hook, Rusted Crank, and Mixed Oil.

Items:

• Part: Found under the hood of a sparking car in 301 Parking Garage. Used to repair the cable car.
• Fire Hook: Found inside a locker in the back of 306 Restaurant, opened with the Lockpick. Used to hook the square hatch in the floor of 306 Restaurant leading to the basement.
• Green Gem / Emerald: Found on a desk in 312 Newspaper 3F if Carlos was met at the Restaurant, or on a corpse in 307 Restaurant Basement if Carlos was met at the Newspaper Office. Used in the clock puzzle with the SAPPHIRE to unlock the gate at 310 Firetruck Street.
• Rusted Crank / Rust Hex Crank: Found on top of a box in 309 Arcade Storeroom. Initially used to open the metal shutter at 320 Gas Station until its handle snaps off, requiring the WRENCH.
• Wrench: Found on a seat in 319 Front Cable Car. Used to remove the FIRE HOSE from the wall hydrant in 115 Hose Alley and to finish opening the shutter at 320 Gas Station after the RUST HEX CRANK breaks.
• Bronze Book / Book of Wisdom: Found held by the mayor's statue at 314 Statue Junction, behind a green door that opens after meeting Nicholai at the cable car. Used on the water feature at 305 Fountain Street to obtain the FUTURE COMPASS.
• Bronze Compass / Future Compass: Retrieved after using the BOOK OF WISDOM on the water feature at 305 Fountain Street. Used on the mayor's statue at 314 Statue Junction to obtain the BATTERY.
• Battery: Found inside a hidden compartment on the back of the mayor's statue at 314 Statue Junction, after placing the FUTURE COMPASS in the statue's empty arm. Used to power the elevator at 304 Maintenance Access leading to the Substation.
• Fuse: Found inside the small room behind the left shutter in 324 Substation Control. Used to repair the cable car.
• Fire Hose: Found bolted to a wall hydrant in 115 Hose Alley; requires the WRENCH to remove. Used to connect to the hydrant in 111 Blazing Alley and extinguish the fire blocking access to the Sales Office.
• Crank / Square Crank: Found on top of some brown bags in the alley at 118 Office Patio. Opens the metal shutter at 108 Playground Alley protecting Grenade Rounds.
• Machine Oil: Found inside a storage cabinet with an electronic lock in 321 Service Shop. Combined with OIL ADDITIVE to create MIXED OIL. Used to repair the cable car.
• Oil Additive: Found on a shelf in the back corner of 120 Office Storage. Combined with MACHINE OIL to create MIXED OIL. Used to repair the cable car.
• Mixed Oil: Created by combining the MACHINE OIL and the OIL ADDITIVE. Used to repair the cable car.
• Clock Tower Key / Bezel Key: Found in a cabinet next to the altar in 403 Chapel if Jill jumped out of the cable car for Live Selection #5, or in a hidden compartment behind a picture on the wall of 408 Bedroom if Jill did not jump out. Used to lower the ladder at 410 Spotlight Balcony leading to 411 Machinery Room.
• Clock Tower Key / Winder Key: Found in a hidden compartment behind a picture on the wall of 408 Bedroom if Jill jumped out of the cable car for Live Selection #5, or in a cabinet next to the altar in 403 Chapel if Jill did not jump out. If Jill jumped out, it unlocks the door in 407 Living Room leading to 406 Study. If Jill did not jump out, it unlocks the door in 402 Ballroom leading to 404 Dining Room. Can be combined with the CHRONOS CHAIN to create the CHRONOS KEY.
• Chronos Chain: Found by solving the music box puzzle in 411 Machinery Room. Combined with the WINDER KEY to create the CHRONOS KEY.
• Chronos Key: Created by combining the WINDER KEY with the CHRONOS CHAIN. Unlocks the door in 406 Study leading to 412 Web Gallery.
• Obsidian Ball: Found in the tray of the center maiden statue in 413 Art Gallery. Used with the AMBER BALL and CRYSTAL BALL to solve the clock puzzle in 413 Art Gallery and retrieve the GOLD GEAR.
