Enter Area 2 of Grapebind and collect items including Perfect Berries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Wind Pixie, Orb of Alertness (unique), Limited-Edition Doll (unique), Gold Figure (unique), Aquaberries, 12,000 Fol, Alchemy Materials, Crafting Materials, and Water Shielding (unique).

Defeat the boss, Moonshadow Clan Chief.

You will encounter Fixed Encounter009 and Fixed Encounter010 in Grapebind 2 and Grapebind 3 respectively.

Enter the area with the house to trigger AddScene003, followed by Fixed Encounter007 (MS Clan Member a, MS Clan Member b), and then AddScene004.

At this point, you must choose whether to Ask Roger to help or Turn down his offer to help.

If you choose to take Roger along, you can fight the Moonshadow Clan Chief and attempt to get his two BTs, or initiate the Ancient Book side quest. If you refuse his help, you will not see him again.

If you plan to use Roger, level him up to Lv18 by fighting Grapebinds in the misty area. Consider creating a Ranger's Helm (125 F, 100 ATP) for his weapon, which is exclusive to his item pool. Also, create a Healing Device Mk1 through Engineering.

After AddScene004, AddScene005 plays upon leaving the hideout, leading to a boss fight (5500 HP, 250 MP, 35 xp, 16 Fol), followed by AddScene006.

Continue to Fixed Encounter011 (Grapebind 4).

Enter Area 3 and collect the Heavy Armor item.

Approach the misty spring to trigger Scene062 and fight the boss FWIE (8000 HP, 500 MP, 1200 xp, Synthesis Materials). Be aware that FWIE may attempt to cast Healing when below 40% HP.

After the boss, you can fight the Carnivorous Plant.

Reach the flower field to trigger Scene064, which will warp you back to Peterny.

In Ameena's Home, exit the bedroom to trigger Scene065. You are directed to head north to Aquios, but optional events can be handled first.

Head northwest from Sanmite. If you wish to do the Ruddle & Rumina side quest, note that they are not immediately available and require refreshing the town.

Travel to the Lost City of Surferio. Collect unique items: Ancient Book 1 through 7.

If you fought the Moonshadow Clan Chief, Roger will appear. Approaching him triggers AddScene007, where you can choose to Cooperate or Refuse to cooperate.

Initiating the Ancient Book side quest allows you to obtain 7 hidden items found in various locations, but only on Disc 1.

Visit the General Store "The Faerie Tear" in Surferio to purchase Basil (20 Fol), Sage (20 Fol), Lavender (20 Fol), and Fresh Sage (310 Fol).

West of Surferio lies the Mosel Dunes. If you can handle the enemies, you can find a chest with 22,400 Fol in the southeast and the Alchemist's Stone in the northwest.

In Duggus Forest, examine the rock near the spring where you fought Mudman to find Health Berries (unique), which is Ancient Book 1. This can only be obtained after starting the Ancient Book side quest.

Return to Peterny and go to Room 102 at the Luxury Inn "The Front Door" to trigger a scene with Rumina the Tomboy & Ruddle the Traveler. You will be presented with dialog options.
