Navigate the Bequerel Mine and Abandoned Refinery in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Find items like the Amulet of Freedom and defeat the Cockatrice.

Walkthrough

    In Bequerel Mine, equip the Lightstone immediately. It is only useful in this dungeon.

    Light the torch near the gate to trigger a fixed encounter with 2x Brass Dragon a.
  3. 3
    After the encounter, approach the large room with two torches in the middle. Light both torches and stand between them.
  4. 4
    Chase a dragon that has a key.
  5. 5
    In the next area, de-equip the Lightstone and extinguish the torch near the door.

    In the final shadow puzzle room, step on the switch in the middle. Then, examine two dragon ornaments so the desired door does not touch your shadow. The west gate leads to the Abandoned Refinery, and the north gate leads to the boss. The boss can also be reached from the refinery.

    Do not miss the Amulet of Freedom. From the third shadow puzzle room, go north, then take the eastern path north.

    Proceed north past the save point (or east past the other one) to trigger Scene073 and reach the Cockatrice boss.

    After defeating the Cockatrice, approach the pile of stones to trigger Scene075. You cannot leave the mine on foot the way you entered.

    In the Abandoned Refinery, examine the tree to the north to find the Demonbane Cross (Ancient Book 6).

    Talk to the soldier near the mine cart to return to the entrance, or talk to the runologist to rest first.

    Choose to ride the hauler to trigger Scene076, followed by Fixed Encounter018 (2x Airyglyph Soldier b, 2x Ag Soldier c), and then Scene077.

    After Scene077, you will face the boss Demetrio (+ 2x Legion Dragon b).

    After the battle, you can return to the refinery/save point. The save point near Kirlsa Caverns cannot be used.

    Proceed to Bequerel Mountain Path to face Albel (+ 2x Black Brigade Soldier b).
