PA-42 (King Airyglyph): Found in the 2F Audience Chamber of the Watchtower. This is the first of six PAs that affect affinity, with only the first and last impacting it. Refuse if aiming for Cliff's or Mirage's ending. The affinity changes are: King Airyglyph 1: +2 So, -2 Ma, -3 Cl, -3 Ne, -1 Mi, +3 Pe, +3 Ad, -1 Ro. King Airyglyph 2: -2 So, +2 Ma, +3 Cl, +3 Ne, +1 Mi, -3 Pe, -3 Ad, -2 Ro.

Locate Smithery Materials in the Watchtower.

Find the Letter from King of Airyglyph (Unique) in the 2F Audience Chamber.

Obtain Magical Berries in the King's Private Quarters.

Acquire 1100 Fol in Oddeye's Cave.

In Kirlsa, find Aquaberries, Cooking Ingredients, and Ripe Berries in the Storm Brigade Garrison's Storeroom.

Find Blackberries and Synthesis Materials in the Storm Brigade Garrison's Storeroom.

Obtain a Fire Pixie in the Storm Brigade Garrison's Guest Room.

Find Blackberries in the Storm Brigade Garrison's Official Office.

In the Mansion of Count Woltar (2F), find the unique weapon Blades of Ryuusen for Nel. This weapon has an elemental side effect that may shoot ice balls with normal attacks.

PA-43 (Nel): This PA has no affinity changes for Nel.

In Peterny - West Side, trigger PA-44 (Albel). The affinity changes are: Albel 1: +4 So, -2 Ma, +2 Cl, -4 Ne, +2 Mi, +6 Pe, +4 Ad, -5 Ro, -3 Ro. Albel 2: +3 So, +2 Ma, +4 Cl, +1 Ne, -2 Pe, -1 Ad, +2 Ro. Albel 3: -7 So, -4 Ma, -5 Cl, -6 Ne, -4 Mi, -7 Pe, -3 Ad, +6 Ro, +2 Ro.

To permanently recruit Albel at the beginning of Disc 2, stay at the Luxury Inn "The Front Door" in Peterny and choose 'Not really.' This triggers PA-45 (Albel). The affinity changes are: Albel 1 (no flag): -2 So, +2 Cl, +2 Ne, -2 Pe, -2 Ad, -3 Ro. Albel 2 (set flag): +1 So, -1 Ma, -1 Cl, +2 Pe, +3 Ad, +5 Ro, +2 Ro.

To recruit Roger, trigger an event in Surferio by entering the house opposite the shop. This is PA-46 (Roger) and is only available if you started the Ancient Book side quest.

Note that if both Albel and Roger recruitment scenes are triggered, the more recent flag will overwrite the previous one.

If you plan to use Albel, it is recommended to get him the Steeled Earth from the Mountains of Barr, reach Lv32, and utilize his skills Air Slash (Kuuhazan) for HP kills and Aura Wall (Mashouheki) for MP kills. His normal attack can be chained until Fury is depleted. A non-elemental move, Goumashou, learned at Lv45, is effective against bosses and AI-friendly, but this is only available in Disc 2.

In Aquios, find Elena Frahm's Room for PA-47 (Elena).

In Castle Airyglyph, find PA-48 (King Airyglyph).

Enter the Mountains of Barr via the northwest path past the mine entrance.

In the Mountains of Barr, find Smithery Materials, Wind Shielding (Artifact), 18100 Fol, Blackberries, Blueberries, Aquaberries, Writing Materials, Ripe Berries, Elven Slippers (pat) (Ancient Book 5), Superior Chain Mail, 46000 Fol, and the unique item Steeled Earth.

Defeat the boss Blue Dragon Zombie to obtain the Artifact Pulse Gun.

Enemies in the Mountains of Barr include Porcupine b, Young Porcupine, Mini-Dragon, Brass Dragon d, Feral Dragon b, Highlander, and Aquaregia b.

In the first outdoors area of the Mountains of Barr, wait to be grabbed by a dragon and taken to its nest. Examine the pile of bones to find the Elven Slippers.

To fight the dragon that carries you away for a trophy, wait without being picked up, and it will descend.

Enter the cave behind the waterfall (north from the save point) to trigger a scene.

The boss in the cave has 30000 HP, 2500 MP, 270 ATP, yields 3500 XP, and 10500 Fol. It emits gas that deals MP damage when hit. Moves that do not involve direct contact are recommended if MP damage is an issue.
