Alright, so you're looking to take down General Valencia the Depraved? She's a pretty tough V Blood boss, and you'll want to be at least Level 83 before you even think about challenging her. It's definitely a fight where bringing some friends along will make things a lot smoother. Let's get you prepped!

Location:

First things first, you need to find her. General Valencia hangs out in the Ruins of Mortium, which is the end-game zone added in the 1.0 release. To get there, you can take the southeast exit from the Cursed Forest (up in the northeast of the map) or head east from the Dunley Farmlands. The Cursed Forest entrance is usually the quickest route. As you're making your way through the Ruins of Mortium, consider grabbing some Draculin blood type if you can; that health regeneration boost at higher ranks is a lifesaver since Valencia doesn't give you many breathing room.

Once you're in the Ruins of Mortium, head south until you reach the North Fortress Ruins. You'll find General Valencia waiting for you down in the arena there. It's a good idea to clear out any nearby enemies before you aggro her, just to make sure you can focus entirely on the fight.

1. Phase 1: Standard Attacks

   Valencia will start with her basic attacks and some of her signature moves. Keep an eye on her attack telegraphs.

2. Phase 2: Enhanced Attacks

   Once she's below half health, Valencia will start combining her attacks, making them harder to predict and dodge.

Strategy:

• General Valencia's Attacks to Watch For:

  • Spear Leap: You'll see a red circle appear under you. Valencia leaps into the air and slams down, causing spears to erupt from the ground in a circle. Just dash out of the circle ASAP.
  • A Thousand Spears: She'll mark a cone in front of her with a red marker. Dash out of this area immediately! She'll then stab furiously multiple times within that cone, and if you're caught, you'll likely take the full brunt of it and get stunned.
  • Thrust Combo: These are her basic melee combos. They have a surprisingly wide arc because of her spear, so keep your dash ready.
  • Spear Barrier: Valencia spins her spear in front of her, blocking all frontal damage and hurting anyone who touches it. If you're fighting with others, this is your chance to attack from behind while she's focused on someone else.
  • Crimson Maiden: This is arguably the toughest part. Valencia summons a Crimson Maiden in the center of the arena. It spins and tries to pull you in, dealing massive damage and draining your blood if you're too close. Focus this down immediately! Valencia can summon it multiple times, so always prioritize killing the Maiden first. You can usually avoid its attacks by sticking to its back.

• Recommended Gear and Abilities:

  • Dash Ability: A reliable dash is crucial. Veil of Blood is a great choice because your next attack heals you, which is super helpful.
  • Ranged Ability: Something spammable like Sanguine Coil is good for consistent damage.
  • Defensive Ability: A shield like the Frost Ultimate Ice Block can save you in a pinch, especially if you're playing with others.
  • Weapons: Consider weapons with good range, like bows or, ideally, Pistols, thanks to their excellent skills. Having more ways to evade is key.
  • Blood Type: As mentioned, Draculin is highly recommended for the health regeneration.

• General Combat Tips:

  • Keep Your Distance: Many of Valencia's attacks have significant range. Try to maintain some distance whenever possible.
  • Always Have an Escape: Make sure you always have a dash or other evasive maneuver ready, as she has ways to close the gap quickly.
  • Prioritize the Crimson Maiden: Seriously, when that thing appears, it's your number one target. Deal with it swiftly before returning your full attention to Valencia.
  • Attack from Behind: During her Spear Barrier, use the opportunity to flank her if you have allies.
  • Watch for Combos: Once she's below half health, she'll start chaining attacks. Be extra vigilant and ready to dodge multiple threats in quick succession.
