Find Finn the Fisherman: After upgrading your equipment to Gear Level 30, track Finn the Fisherman via the V Blood Menu. Follow the bloodtrail to his Fishing Spot, located southwest of the Hallowed Mountains. Defeating him rewards you with Blood Rage, a Woodworking Bench, a Fishing Pole, a Hunter’s Crossbow, a Painting Frame, and Sculptured Wood.

Create a Woodworking Bench: Return to your castle and open the Build Menu (press ). Navigate to Production and find it under Crafting. You will need 12 Planks and 60 Animal Hide. To get Planks, you need 20 Lumber processed in a Sawmill. Animal Hide is obtained by killing wild animals like Wolves, Bears, and Deer. Building the bench in a Workshop Room can decrease crafting time and cost.

Craft a Fishing Pole: You will need 6 Planks, 3 Copper Ingots, and 3 Coarse Thread. To obtain Copper Ingots, first build a Furnace, which requires 4 Coarse Thread and 120 Wood. Coarse Thread can be found by destroying barrels and crates or defeating enemies in Bandit Camps, Bandit Logging Camps, and Bandit Trapper Camps. Once you have all materials, return to your Workshop and craft the Fishing Pole.
