Creating a Prison Room: Rooms

Learn how to build a Prison Room in V Rising. Unlock Prison Cells by defeating Vincent the Frostbringer and Prison Flooring via Henry Blackbrew. Crafting and bonuses explained.

In V Rising, you can build various rooms that offer specific bonuses. A Prison Room, for instance, reduces the amount of blood lost from humans held in Prison Cells.

Unlocking Prison Cells

To unlock Prison Cells, you must defeat the Level 40 V Blood Boss, Vincent the Frostbringer. You can track his blood using the V Blood menu, which will lead you to the lower Dunley Farmlands. After defeating him, open your Build Menu (press B), navigate to the Dominance Tab, and build the Prison Cell using 8 Iron Ingots and Reinforced Planks.

Unlocking Prison Flooring

To learn Prison Flooring, you first need to unlock and build the Athenaeum. This requires defeating Henry Blackbrew the Doctor, a Level 74 V Blood Boss, so ensure your gear level is at least 70-75. Track his blood via the V Blood menu to find him in Trancendum Laboratories in Gloomrot North.

Crafting The Athenaeum

After defeating Henry Blackbrew and acquiring the Athenaeum recipe, return to your Castle to build it. The Athenaeum is expensive, requiring 20 Schematics, 8 Reinforced Planks, 4 Pristine Leather, and 4 Dark Silver Ingots.

Schematic Locations

Schematics can be found as drops from enemies, in crates, and chests within settlements in Silverlight Hills.

Crafting Reinforced Planks

Reinforced Planks are crafted in the Sawmill. You need the recipe for Reinforced Planks, obtained by defeating the Level 40 V Blood Boss, Vincent the Frostbringer. Track his blood using the Blood Altar to find him in the lower Dunley Farmlands. Once you have the recipe, craft Reinforced Planks using 4 Iron Ingots and 4 Planks in the Sawmill.

After obtaining the Athenaeum, you need to find the Jewel Chamber Flooring Book or discover it using 100 Schematics. This allows you to change the flooring to Prison Flooring, granting the room's bonuses.

Pristine Leather Locations

Pristine Leather is crafted in the Tannery, which costs 8 Planks and 160 Rugged Hide. The Tannery requires 20 Pristine Leather and 20 Mutant Grease (obtained from mutants in Gloomrot) to craft Pristine Leather.

Dark Silver Ingots Locations

Dark Silver Ingots are smelted in an advanced furnace after acquiring the recipe by defeating Cyril the Cursed Smith.

Prison Room Bonuses

A Prison Room in your Castle allows you to drain less blood from prisoners in Prison Cells, enabling multiple extractions before they die. Leftover Fish can be used to restore a prisoner's health to 100%.
