Highland Lotus is an essential reagent in V Rising, primarily used for crafting Silk, which is then required for the Bloodmoon armor set. There are two reliable methods to acquire it:

• Harvesting from Harpy Nests in Silverlight Hills.
• Purchasing Highland Lotus Seeds from Ottar the Merchant.

While it can occasionally be found in chests, containers, and from destructible objects, these methods are unreliable.

Harvest Highland Lotus from Harpy Nests

Highland Lotus plants can be found in Harpy Nests located in the Silverlight Hills region of Vardoran. There are two main Harpy Nest locations: one in the south and one in the north. These areas contain a good amount of Highland Lotus, but also a significant number of Harpy enemies ranging from level 58 to 66. It is not recommended to visit these nests during the day due to the lack of shade, though small shaded areas under cliff edges or within the nests themselves can offer temporary refuge.

The northern Harpy Nest is generally easier to navigate. The southern nest is guarded by the boss Morian the Stormwing Matriarch (Level 68). You can choose to fight her for additional resources or bypass her to gather the Highland Lotus. To maximize your harvest, use weapons that increase resource yield for vegetation, such as Iron Swords or Iron Slashers. Utilizing Tier V Worker Blood can further boost resource yield by 30%, which is highly beneficial given the rarity of Highland Lotus.

Purchase Highland Lotus Seeds from Ottar the Merchant

If you need more Highland Lotus after visiting the Harpy Nests, you can purchase Highland Lotus Seeds from Ottar the Merchant. His shop is located in the Brighthaven Slums, in the southeastern part of the town. Each seed costs 200 silver coins, so ensure you have a sufficient amount saved. To approach Ottar without hostility from town guards, you must be in Human Form. Revealing your vampire form to any merchant will make them hostile.

Maintaining Human Form requires avoiding damage, including that from Silver Sickness. To carry 200 silver coins and remain in Human Form, you will need a good amount of Silver Resistance. This can be obtained from gear like the Hunter’s Cloak or Phantom’s Veil (both providing +15 Silver Resistance), or by consuming a Silver Resistance Brew (+15 for 1200 seconds) or Silver Resistance Potion (+50 for 1200 seconds).

Once you have Highland Lotus Seeds, you can plant them in your castle's garden to establish a consistent source of Highland Lotus.

Loot Chests, Containers, and Destructible Objects

Finding Highland Lotus or its seeds from chests, containers, destructible objects, or enemy drops is the least reliable method. While it's possible to find small amounts this way, it requires significant luck. It is still advisable to loot everything you find in Silverlight Hills, especially around the Brighthaven Docks, which has a high density of destructible objects and lootable buildings.
