Servants play a significant role in the V Rising meta game by undertaking "Hunts" to gather valuable resources. To recruit them, you must progress through the main questline and complete the 14th quest, "Lord of the Manor," to obtain the Servant Coffin recipe. The subsequent quest, "Servants," rewards you with the "Dominating Presence" Vampire Power and requires the construction of a Servant Coffin.

    Complete the 14th main quest, "Lord of the Manor," to unlock the Servant Coffin recipe.

    Construct a Servant Coffin using 16x Planks, 8x Copper Ingots, and 1x Greater Blood Essence. Servant Coffins can be found under Dominance > Production in the building menu.

    Upon constructing the Servant Coffin, you will gain the "Dominating Presence" Vampire Power.

    Activate "Dominating Presence" from the Action wheel.

    Use "Kiss of the Vampire" on a human target who is at or below 30% health to charm them. This is a channeling skill, and you are vulnerable while channeling.

    Bring the charmed human back to your Servant Coffin and place them inside to convert them into a servant.

    Each servant requires one Servant Coffin. The number of Servant Coffins you can build is limited by your Castle Heart level.
Tips
  • Ensure your health is topped up before using "Kiss of the Vampire" as you can be attacked while channeling.
  • Once a human is converted, you can choose to bring them back to the Servant Coffin or release them.
  • Servants have various stats to consider:
    • Blood Type: Determines their capabilities and potential traits (e.g., Brute for combat, Scholar for spellcasting).
  • Blood Quality: Affects their expertise level (e.g., 29% quality yields 3-6% expertise).
  • Expertise: Boosts the Power gained from equipment.
  • Power Level / Gear: Determined by equipped gear and expertise, this is crucial for undertaking missions in specific areas with designated Power Level requirements.
  • Faction: Based on where the thrall was acquired, influencing hunt difficulty in that area (e.g., a Dunley Farmlands servant may have a trait that lowers hunt difficulty by 100% in that region).
  • To equip your servant, interact with them by pressing the interact key. You can equip them with a Weapon, Chest, Legs, Boots, Arms, and Jewelry. Their gear level functions similarly to the player's, with better equipment increasing their overall gear level.
