Walkthrough
- 1Head south to the Collection Plate and take silver.
- 2Go west to the Mage’s Collective Bag and take the Note from the Collective to start the quest “Find the Mages’ Cache“ and obtain Codex 280: Raiding the Collective.
- 3Go north of the chantry to find the Mages’ Collective Marker.
- 4Proceed to the center of the city and interact with Melford’s Imports of Import. You can steal the Fenced Fereldan Jewelry and 4 Sovereigns, but be cautious of guards.
- 5Check the Finery by Ser Wolly and steal the Fenced Historical Costumes.
- 6Go to Renwold’s Relics and steal the Fenced Tevinter Antiquities.
- 7Look southwest from the marketplace to find another Mages’ Collective Marker and a crate.
- 8Go northeast of the marketplace to find Bann Perrin. Knock him out and loot him for Suspect Underthings and Note from the Chantry.
- 9Loot the nearby crate.
- 10Go northwest of the marketplace near the elven alienage to find a Night Captain.
- 11Approach the Mages’ Collective Cache to trigger a fight with Severin Corwood and his Stone Golem.
- 12Loot the cache for Silver Cord, Progenitor Crosscut, and 5 sovereigns. Loot Severin’s corpse for the Mages’ Collective Signet.
- 13Check the nearby crate.
- 14Continue toward the tavern and search the crate in the corner.
- 15Speak with Jovi Merice to initiate a fight.
- 16Loot Jovi Merice’s body for a Bastard Thorn, Jovi Merice’s Corpse, and Masterwork Leather Piece to start the quest “Orlesian Battledress“.
- 17Turn in all items to Guard Captain Eams to complete the quest and earn the “Vendetta” achievement.
- 18Signal Marjolaine when ready to continue. You can speak with Bonny Lem to trade first.
Tips
- Stealing is possible in various shops, but be prepared for combat if detected.
- The Mages’ Collective Marker can be found north of the chantry and southwest of the marketplace.
- The “Vendetta” achievement is awarded for destroying Guard Captain Eams’ career.
