Learn how to defeat The Harvester in Dragon Age: Origins' The Golems of Amgarrak DLC. Includes strategies for both phases, handling Harvested Corpses, and earning achievements.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Harvester adapts to magic, becoming immune. Wait for the red haze to indicate magic is effective again.
• Harvested Corpses spawn throughout the fight and can overwhelm the player.

Phases:

1. Phase One: Start by having Snug taunt The Harvester. Use Brogan to manage the Harvested Corpses as they appear. Bombard The Harvester with magic. If you have two magic users, one can kite tank The Harvester while the other deals damage, but be mindful of corpse spawns. Alternatively, position your healer away from the melee and tank. When the red haze appears and more corpses spawn, use the corner switch to make them disappear temporarily.
2. Phase Two: The Harvester emerges from its body and moves erratically. It will summon Harvested Corpses of all ranks. This phase becomes a damage race as it's faster to kill The Harvester than the numerous corpses. Maintain pressure to end the fight quickly.

Strategy:

• Utilize a "kite tank" strategy with two magic users if possible, especially on higher difficulties.
• Keep melee attackers positioned behind The Harvester while the tank holds its attention in the middle if not kiting.
• Prioritize killing Harvested Corpses, especially when they overwhelm you.
• Use the corner switch to clear spawned corpses during the red haze when they become too numerous.
• Focus damage on The Harvester in phase two to end the fight before too many corpses are summoned.

• Defeating The Harvester earns the “Reaper” achievement (25 points), unlocking the Sash of Forbidden Secrets.
• Defeating The Harvester on Hard or Nightmare difficulty earns the “Grim Reaper” achievement (50 points), unlocking The Reaper’s Cudgel.
• Earning the “A Secret Stitched Together” achievement unlocks The High Regard of House Dace.
