Guide your way through Denerim's Back Streets in Dragon Age: Origins. Learn where to find Gang Leaders, Blood Mage's Relatives, and valuable loot.

Alright, let's get through these Back Streets in Denerim. It's a bit of a maze, but we'll stick together. Keep an eye out for the White Falcons; Sergeant Kylon should show up to help you out, and you'll automatically turn in that quest as he heads back to the Market District. Oh, and don't forget to grab the unique item Aodh from Cristof's body – it's a nice little bonus.

Next up is the Dirty Back Alley. You'll run into a Gang Leader and his crew here. Take 'em down, then chat with Tania and give her that letter. If you look near the top of the stairs, you'll see another Door of a Blood Mage’s Relative. The Quaint Hovel door is locked for now, so we'll have to push on to the Dark Alley.

In the Dark Alley, another Gang Leader and his thugs are waiting. After you deal with them, make sure to loot the wooden crate and chest. Then, examine that last Door of Blood Mage’s Relative. You'll need to speak with the Hooded Courier here before heading off to the Rundown Back Street.

The Rundown Back Street has the final Gang Leader and his thugs. Once they're down, there are two more wooden crates and a chest nearby to check out. Definitely loot Ser Friden too, as he'll give you the quest The Last Request. Find the Hooded Courier in the corner, then head into the Dirty Hovel.

Inside the Dirty Hovel, you'll find Friden's Journal, which kicks off another quest. Your main objective here is to talk to the Deserter, Layson, and then… well, you have to kill him and his band of thugs. There’s a chest on the other side of the wall, so grab what you can before heading to the Deserted Building on the City Map.
